Sunshine Cruz admitted she already talked with Macky Mathay about getting their relationship to the next level. Yet she said she’s “not ready” for marrying again.
In an interview Thursday with PUSH last Thursday, November 7, Sunshine Cruz explained her personal reason when asked if she has plans to get married again with Macky.
“Kasi I just got annulled last February, officially annulled this February… Okay naman kami for now, sa kung anong meron kami,” Sunshine said. “Hindi kami nagmamadali, we have our jobs na kailangan naming mag-focus. So in God’s perfect time.”
Sunshine also said that she would say no if Macky will surprise her with a proposal.
“But for now, of course andun yung napag-uusapan namin pero sabi ko nga, I’m not ready yet,” Sunshine added. “He’s even joking na what if I propose, I’ll say no. Sabi niya, ‘I’ll find a way for you to say yes.”
Sunshine and Macky were in a relationship for almost three years. Last August, netizens reacted on social media when they saw a ring in Sunshine’s finger.
Meanwhile, Sunshine reacted when she was dubbed as “Basted Queen” before, due to saying no to her celebrity suitors. “Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako sa bansag na ‘yon. Pero ako kasi I believe na if that person is not really meant for you, kahit anong pilit natin hindi talaga mangyayari,” she said.
