Former Ang TV actor Gio Alvarez, who became one of the popular teen stars during the 90s, has this life now behind the camera.

Aside from this, he also did several TV shows in the Kapamilya network and one of the prominent roles he played was Bob Cosme, the second son of Kevin Cosme played by the Comedy King Dolphy in Home Along Da Riles.

Gio also had acting stints in the Kapuso network such as Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako (2005) with Camille Prats, Ehra Madrigal, and Marian Rivera, and Asian Treasures (2007) with Robin Padilla and Angel Locsin. Once in a while, he still appears in some TV shows.

Now, at the age of 43, Gio Alvarez focuses more on his family. He became a father when he was 20 years old. His eldest Kaylene, is now 23 years old and living in the US while his other 4 children are with him. The youngest child of Gio with current partner professional golfer Jayvie Agojo is just 7 months old named Matilda, based on the article from Smart Parenting.

“Seven members in a family is already a great blessing. Our family is perfect,” the former teen star said. He also shared that when it comes to their youngest, he and his partner are very hands-on. “Because we couldn’t find anyone that we trusted enough even to hold Matilda, hehe. But after some time we found it fulfilling being the only two people responsible for the health and growth of a person,” he shared.

The actor considers his four daughters and son are all Daddy’s children. When asked about showbiz plans for his talented kids, Gio Alvarez said that it is inevitable but he would like them to finish their studies first, based on the article.
