During the 1990s, several Pinoy ST stars had found their way to stardom as they were featured in adult films.
When that era ended, some ventured into serious acting while some chose to leave show business and live outside the glitz and glamour of the industry.
How are the Pinoy ST stars after their stints in adult films? Here are some of them:
Allen Dizon
He starred in ‘Curacha: Ang Babaeng Walang Pahinga’ together with Rosanna Roces. After his stints in adult films, he was recognized as one of the premiere actors in indie film industry.
Anton Bernardo
The ‘Paraiso Ni Efren’ actor was arrested for possession of prohibited substance. Fortunately, he was able to rise again from that obstacle and he is now focusing on health and fitness.
Gardo Versoza
He was known for his role as “Machete” opposite Rosanna Roces. Gardo is still active in showbiz until now.
Harold Pineda
The Ginoong Pilipinas 1998 starred in adult films such as ‘Pila-Balde’ and ‘Biglang Liko’. There is no information of where he is and what he is doing now but reportedly, he tried to revive his showbiz career.
Jay Manalo
Before he did drama and action roles, Jay‘s career bloomed first when he became the lead actor in the movie ‘Totoy Mola’.
Leandro Baldemor
His most notable adult movie was ‘Patikim ng Pinya’. Now, he sculpts and owns a shop in Laguna. Leandro is still doing some roles in the Kapuso shows.
Leandro Litton
He was a finalist in Ginoong Pilipinas back in 1998. His career in showbiz started when he did the ‘Burlesk King’ with Rodel Velayo. After that stint, he moves to the US and still living there until now.
Rodel Velayo
The ‘Burlesk King’ actor ended marrying his co-star in ‘Nene’ Daniella. They are now living in Australia.
Romano Vasquez
From ‘That’s Entertainment’, he ventured in adult films. Reportedly, his career and finances got affected when he was involved in prohibited substance. Fortunately, he was able to bounce back and is doing well in running his business now.
Victor Neri
He did both adult films and action movies. Victor has found a different career outside showbiz. He is now a chef.
