Thia Thomalla and Mikee Quintos received bashing from fans of Alden Richards
Fans of Pambansang Bae Alden Richards bashed his new leading ladies, Thia Thomalla and Mikee Quintos, in the upcoming Kapuso series The Gift.
It is known to many that Alden came from a very popular love team, the AlDub, with Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza. Undoubtedly, their tandem is one of those that have the biggest fandom. However, when he was paired to Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo in the movie Hello, Love, Goodbye, many fans accepted their onscreen partnership and the movie was a hit.
Now, that Alden is being paired to his new leading ladies, several of his fans do not like this. Based on the article from PEP, Thia and Mikee admitted that they received bashing from the fans of the Pambansang Bae. It is because, until, Alden is still highly associated with the AlDub love team.

When Thia was asked about her experience in receiving bashing online, she said, “I always have believed na there are a lot of people you can’t please, and then some people who will not be happy about what you do or whatever you are doing in your life. She added that she admires the loyalty of Alden’s fans because it is something rare. Thia also said that she experienced bullying even the time when she was still a student.

However, this experience is not new to her because she also received mean comments during her first project, Encantadia.
