Here is the journey in the life of former sexy star Aleck Bovick, from the time she started her showbiz career until now
Aleck Bovick or Maria Teresa Bovick Tambis in real life is one of the aspiring stars during the early 2000s who started their showbiz career through their sexy image.
She was first launched as a sexy star in the daring movie Kaulayaw, however there was an unexpected thing that happened which created controversy for her first project in the big screen.
It was reported in an article of Ricky Lo in The Philippine Star that the estranged father of Aleck surfaced and filed a custody case of the sexy star.
He claimed that his daughter was just 17 years old back then. On the other hand, the bold star has already turned 18 a year prior to that, so technically she was in a legal age when she did the said daring movie, based on the article.
After that, Aleck Bovick has starred in various titillating films during that era such as Masarap na Pugad, Tampisaw, Hiram and Naglalayag.
She was also a part of various TV shows such as Beh Bote Nga, Habang Kapiling Ka and Be Careful with My Heart.
During the time when she was still active as a sexy star, she also released singles with a naughty theme such as Baso ni Maria, Gatas ni Papa and Gusto Ko ng Nota.
Aleck also joined the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition in 2006.
She was romantically involved to her fellow sexy star Carlo Maceda and they had a child. They separated in 2008.
Due to giving birth to her son Leonne Lancelot who weighed 8.7 lbs in birth, based on the article of GMA Entertainment, Aleck Bovick was not able to maintain her sexy body.
Though she was not that active in showbiz after she gave birth, she had a few TV guestings and roles in soap operas.
Her recent acting stints was as Cora in the primetime teleserye of Coco Martin FPJ’s and Probinsyano.
She revealed that a young age of 14 she already learned how to earn money for herself by working as a GRO/model and she also worked in Japan for a year.
Despite what she have been through, Aleck Bovick is still fighting in her life’s battle.
