Ana Capri first became popular in the Philippine showbiz scene when she started as a sexy star.
She starred in various titillating films such as ‘Virgin Island 2’, ‘Ang Paraiso ni Efren’ and ‘Live Show’.
However, Ana was not just any sexy star during her time, because she was nominated and won awards for her performances.
She got the Best Actress Award in CineManila International Film Festival in 1999 for the movie ‘Pila-Balde’ and in 2005 for the ‘Ala Verde, Ala Pobre’ both in CineManila International Film Festival and Golden Screen Awards.
In the early 2000s she also ventured in TV shows expanding the scope of her career in the show business.
Though she was only given supporting roles, it did not hinder to live up to the true essence of acting.
When it comes to her love life, she revealed in 2007 that she and her boyfriend were already on their 6th year.
