Why did Angel Locsin decide to resign from ABS-CBN before?
ANGEL LOCSIN – Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin revealed the reason why she decided to resign from ABS-CBN before.
One of the most brilliant actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry is Angel Locsin. She was a Kapuso before and in 2007, she transferred to ABS-CBN network.
Under the Kapamilya network, Angel has done several projects including the fantasy television series La Luna Sangre which reunited her with her former loveteam partner Richard Gutierrez.
Angel and Richard were on-screen tandem back when they were still under the GMA-7. Until now, their loveteam never fails to bring “kilig” to their fans who are hoping for a reunion movie of them.
Currently, Angel Locsin is working for the upcoming television series The General’s Daughter. Many of her fans and supporters are very excited for her comeback on the TV screen.
A press conference was recently held for Angel’s new TV series. Based on a report on Pep, prior to the press con, the actress has a short talk with chosen reporters.
During the interview, Angel broke her silence about her talked-about social media post wherein she stated that 2019 is the year when she’s coming back
“2015 challenged me. 2016 broke me. 2017 changed me. 2018 opened my eyes. 2019 I’M COMING BACK. After 5 years…. This is Angel Locsin, reporting for duty as Rhian Bonifacio,” the actress stated.
Based on the report, Angel Locsin the past five years have really been challenging to her and she posted it to show that she’s human who have down moments too.
“May moments na down ka, pero laging maging better. Wala namang ibang pupuntahan, e, so stop worrying,” the actress expressed.
According to the report, Angel did not specify the struggles that she went through but it was in 2015 when she announced that she cannot do Darna anymore due to her health condition.
It was in 2016 when the actress and Luis Manzano broke up. In 2017, rumors that Angel’s dating businessman-producer Neil Arce crossed the surface.
Based on the report, during the interview, Angel Locsin revealed that she decided to resign from ABS-CBN before. According to her, she has already submitted a resignation letter to the Kapamilya network.
“Ayoko na noon, e… Parang feeling ko, hindi ko deserve, hindi ko nagagawa yung trabaho ko… Parang I’m a big disappointment,” she said.
Angel added that she felt embarrassed as she was being paid by the network. She thought that the proper way to deal with it is to resign.
Based on the report, the ABS-CBN executive did not allow Angel Locsin to resign. Instead, by the following week, projects were pitched to her by several business units including the Dreamscape Entertainment.
