Cristine Reyes responds to mean comments about her.
Kapamilya actress Cristine Reyes and her co-stars in the television series “Tubig at Langis” was made to react on mean comments thrown to them by random social media users. It was part of Isabelle Daza’s “Hater’s Gonna Hate” segment on her official Facebook page.
On Friday April 8, 2016, the “It Girl” member posted the video which features the former sexy actress Cristine Reyes, kapamilya heartthrob Zanjoe Marudo, and Dionne Monsanto, reacting to hate statements from several netizens.
Cristine Reyes seemed not affected by the comments. In the first part, she even replied calmly to unidentified netizen who called her “losyang,” a used word to describe someone who looks older than her/his age.
On e netizen commented: “Mukha nang losyang si Cristine Reyes, buti ngang nagbreak from showbiz.” The 27-year-old actress just replied, “Well, kung losyang ako, ano ka pa?”
Zanjoe Marudo was not also affected by the comments criticizing his appearance as a celebrity. He just laughed at the opinion of his haters.
On Dionne Monsanto, she was criticized because of her thick eyebrows. She even said: “Bakit ba ang daming may issue sa kilay ko?”
“Haters Gonna Hate” is a popular segment in Isabelle Daza’s page. It has already featured a number of celebrities including Anne Curtis, Solenn Heusaff, Karen Davila, Iza Calzado, Rhian Ramos and Gerald Anderson.
Isabelle Daza is the daughter of Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz. She was a former host of the longest-running variety show of GMA’s “Eat Bulaga.” In 2014, she officially transferred to ABS-CBN to pursue her acting career.
