This is the reason why Derek Ramsay asked for a vacation after he finished shooting his latest Star Cinema movie, ‘Kasal’.
The movie ‘Kasal’ of Derek Ramsay with Bea Alonzo is his comeback project in Star Cinema after his contract in TV 5 expired.
He also done a movie with the film franchise of ABS-CBN two years ago but he wasn’t able to appear in any Kapamilya show to promote the said movie, unlike what he did just recently in ‘It’s Showtime’.
According to Derek, being in the ABS-CBN compound once again felt like a homecoming for him.
Since his contract with TV 5 has already ended, Derek Ramsay was asked if he is ready to have a TV series again in the Kapamilya network.
“I’m taking baby steps at a time. I’m soaking it all, the excitement and the blessings I’ve been given. You know, my contract with the other network just expired, and here I am doing a movie with Star Cinema,” the actor said, based on the article published in Bandera.
He added that there is already another movie lined up after ‘Kasal’ but for the meantime he will have a vacation first.
The hunk actor revealed that his reason to take a break is to make things soak all in him.
“After this movie, I’m gonna take a week or two just to soak in, like, everything that’s happening. It’s like a rollercoaster right now,” Derek said.
Meanwhile, when it comes to the outcome of his latest movie with Bea Alonzo, Derek said that they were a bit apprehensive if movie goers will watch it.
It is because its showing date comes within the Avengers: Infinity War fever in cinemas.
On the other hand, Derek’s movie with Star Cinema has an edge to catch the attention of movie goers. It has a political angle in the roles played by Paulo Avelino, Christopher de Leon and Cherrie Gil, based on the source.
