Dina Bonnevie recalled the incident when she confronted a young female star before because of her attitude problem on the set.
Veteran drama actress Dina Bonnevie is not just prolific in her profession but she also possesses a certain kind of staying power in the industry in where everything comes and goes so frequent.
For the younger generation, it is something that must be looked up to if they want to stay in showbiz for many years.
Dina has been in the industry for 38 long years now since she was launched back in 1980.
Recently, during an interview, the actress was asked if what she can advise to young stars to stay longer in the industry.
“Iyon na nga ang sinasabi ko, para magtagal kayo sa industriya, number one, you have to love what you do. You have to really appreciate that gift, treasure it, keep it, and talagang ano… be professional. Kasi, kung hindi ka pa nga sikat, e, kung umasta ka, akala mo ikaw na yung reyna ng buong taping, teka lang,” Dina shared.
With that, she recalled one incident that she really gave a bratty young star a lesson she can never forget.
The veteran actress said, “Talagang… I gave her hell.”
According to Dina Bonnevie, she really reprimanded that said young female star.
“Talagang sinabihan ko siya, ‘Who do you think you are? Are you famous? Who are you? What name have you made? Have you carved your name in stone in showbiz? Your call is at 9 o’clock and you come down from your van at 12 o’clock na naka-pajama? Really?” she stressed out to the bratty young star.
In addition, the veteran actress also said that,”Hindi pa ipinapanganak ang mambabastos sa akin. If you want to continue taping this soap like this, do it yourself.”
When asked who she was talking about, Dina refused to name her but she said that young bratty star is not that famous anymore.
She also said that the young actress she was talking about was not from her current Kapamilya teleserye ‘Blood Sisters’.
The bratty star even threatened Dina to tell her mother about it but the veteran actress fiercely said, “Sige, papuntahin mo dito. Magsu-showdown kami dito ng nanay mo.”
According to Dina, that said young star before with attitude problem is less popular now than the supporting star in the soap they did before, based on the article.
