Glaiza De Castro ranted about the deduction on talent fee that one can get because of being late.
Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro ranted about the deduction in salary or talent fee when one comes late.
The ‘Contessa’ lead star expressed her views about the state of employment in the country which she observed.
According to the article published in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Glaiza made this statement:
“Fair ba na kaltasan ka ng sweldo pag na-late ka pero sa mahigit 24 oras na pagtatrabaho, wala man lang overtime pay?”
It is not clear if she was talking about the general situation of employment in the country or if she is specifically talking about the situation in the Philippine showbiz industry.
If the Kapuso actress is talking about the celebrities who come later than their call time, she must understand that the situation in the entertainment world is far different from other fields of career.
Based on the article, actors and actresses are paid with much higher sum of money compared to other people with blue collar or white collar jobs.
It was also said that even though celebrities are working for almost 24 hours a day or even beyond that, the hours that they are waiting are still being paid.
