Jed Madela expressed his rage regarding the stolen luggage of Filipino delegates for WCOPA at NAIA
Kapamilya singer Jed Madela took to Twitter his complaint regarding the stolen luggage of Filipino delegates for World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Jed, who is a WCOPA Hall of Famer serves as the coach of the participants of this year’s international competition.
As usual, the Team Philippines brought home awards from various categories but there was one unexpected incident that happened when they arrived at the airport.
Based on the recent Twitter post of the Kapamilya singer, the luggage of some of the delegates were stolen.
The ‘pasalubongs’ that the delegates brought for their families were taken from their luggage.
Yes, we are back home! And we are happy!
Except for one thing. Whoever broke into the luggages of our delegates and stole their “pasalubongs” for their families, SHAME ON YOU!— jedmadela ⁷ (@jedmadela) July 25, 2018
The singer condemned the act of stealing as the kids saved their money in order have something to take home for their love ones.
These kids barely have enough at tinabi nila pera nila para mabilhan nga pasalubong mga mahal nila sa buhay dito sa Pinas. Tapos nanakawin lang sa airport. Nakakahiya. I don’t know how these people can do such a heartless thing.

Jed wondered why the thief had to do that.
Ano kaya ang nasa isip ng mga magnanakaw na kumuha ng mga pasalubong ng mga delegates sa maleta nila? Gamit gamit na kaya nila ngayon? Di kaya sila nako-konsensya?

His most recent tweet about this issue served as a warning to the culprit who stole from the WCOPA delegates.
Okay. So, the news is now picking up the story about what happened at the airport. Naku. Humanda na kayo dyan. Kung sino man kayo ang nagnakaw dun, good luck na lang sa inyo.

Netizens who commented on his series of tweets also condemned what happened to the young performers.
Despite of that untoward incident, the delegates of this year’s WCOPA celebrated for their triumph.
Based on the report of ABS-CBN, the Team Philippines brought home almost 286 plaques and medals from the said international competition.
Aljun Cayawan, the Prince of the Manubo Tribe of Agusan del Sur is the grand champion in singing and modeling competitions.
Cayawan said that he wants to encourage those who belong in other tribes in the Philippines to showcase their talents.
Jed Madela admitted that this year’s competition is tougher than the previous years.
“Kasi talagang pinaghandaan, pinaghandaan tayo ng mga ibang bansa,” he said, based on the report.
WCOPA Philippines National Director Gerry Mercado said that the delegates were really out there to promote the country.
