How did Jodi Sta. Maria and Ex-husband Pampi Lacson overcame their past?
JODI STA. MARIA – Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria spoke on her relationship with ex-husband Pampi Lacson now.
Among the celebrity ex-couples who were successful at building a good relationship again even after the separation are actress Jodi Sta. Maria and her ex-husband Pampi Lacson.
In March 2005, Jodi and Pampi married in Nevada, USA and they also have a civil wedding in Parañaque City more than two(2) months after it. They have a son nicknamed “Thirdy”.
Jodi Sta. Maria and Pampi Lacson’s marriage led to separation after five(5) years of being a married couple. It was in March 2011 when news about their break up crossed the surface.
Meanwhile, visibly, although Jodi Sta. Maria and Pampi Lacson separated, they never stop from being parents to Thirdy Lacson. They have managed to be in good terms again and co-parent their son.
Undeniably, many would get questions on the unconventional family that Jodi and Pampi have. The latter is now in a relationship with actress Iwa Moto and they already have a daughter.
But, for Jodi, here is what the actress has to say about her relationship with her ex-husband now in an interview with Pep:
“It’s really possible. I would always say, hindi naman to kaila, na it has only become possible through the grace of God,” she said.
Based on the report, Jodi Sta. Maria also added that she does not believe that they will reach this point of their relationship if God is not in their lives.
According to the actress, what is important is that they will be able to raise Thirdy well. She stressed that she puts her son’s needs first and that is what parenting is for her.
“We may not be together as partners, but we can co-parent our child in the best way we can, to be able to give him not only a bright future, but also to show him that despite the situation, kumbaga, magkatuwang pa rin kami sa pagpapalaki sa kanya,” she said.
Based on the report, in 2013, it was reported that the annulment of the marriage of Jodi and Pampi are being processed. It was granted by the Parañaque Court but the Court of Appeals reversed the decision in 2016.
Currently, there are still no updates on the process of the annulment of the ex-couple.
