Joey de Leon shared his reaction about the transwoman winner of Miss Universe Spain 2018
Henyo Master and comedian Joey de Leon said something about the winner of Miss Universe Spain 2018 who is a transwoman.
Angela Ponce is the first-ever transgender woman to be crowned as this year’s Miss Spain. She is set to compete to the Miss Universe later this 2018.
Regarding her coronation as a beauty queen in a pageant that pre-dominated by women, Joey commented something about it.
On the recent Instagram post of the ‘Eat Bulaga’ host, he shared the photo of Ponce with this caption:
“Sorry, NAUNA kami sa Super Sireyna two years ago pa!”
The Henyo Master was referring to the beauty pageant in the longest noontime show which is intended to feature gays and transwomen.
With this, many of his IG followers agreed to what he said.
“Mas advance mag isip ang eat bulaga,” Instagram user @ihha commented. Another netizen in the person of Instagram user @gina1452 agreed by saying that indeed ‘Eat Bulaga’ first did this kind of beauty pageant.

The winning of Angela Ponce as the Miss Universe Spain 2018 raised the brows of many pageant fans.
