The fondness of John Lloyd Cruz in staying in Cebu is not surprising anymore according to Cebuana indie actress Chai Fonacier.
John Lloyd Cruz apparently enjoys his stay in Cebu since it is the home province of his girlfriend Ellen Adarna.
There were several times that the Kapamilya A-list actor was spotted doing things in the queen city of the south like he was no big star.
Though he is a popular celebrity all over the country, Lloydie did not mind mingling with ordinary people there.
That is far different from his previous life in Manila. It seems that he likes his way of living now in the province.

During the media conference of her movie ‘Pinay Beauty’ Edgar Allan Guzman and Mazine Medina, she was asked to comment about John Lloyd who is living now in Cebu.
At first, the actress did not know that JLC is currently staying in her home province. It seems that she is not updated on social media.
Anyway, she said that it is not surprising that the A-list actor is now living where Ellen is.
She said it is because she knew quite a few people who were from Manila but after five years of living in Cebu, they can already speak fluent Cebuano.
Chai shared that she even mistook that they are really pure Cebuano.
Though she and Ellen are both from the same province but Chai said that she does know her personally because they have different circle of friends.
With regards to JLC’s fondness in being in Cebu, based on the article, Chai said:
“Natutuwa din ako actually. I think, I’m having similar experience with him na from Cebu, tapos lumipat ng Manila. I think, we’re both finding new things that we never had in our respective hometowns.”
