Myki Manalo was surprised as she received a rose from a random stranger which she later on knew the reason why
Dr. Myki Manalo, the surgeon daughter of Kapuso comedian Jose Manalo was shocked when someone she does not know gave her a flower during Valentine’s Day.
She found out that it was a social experiment conducted by “Good News Kasama si Vicky Morales”, one of the programs in GMA 7.
A man was designated to give roses to random women he encounters in the street and find out what will be their reaction, based on the article published in Philippine Trends.
The main purpose of the said experiment is to make women feel that they are being appreciated no matter what task they are doing.
The team who conducted the social experiment first spotted two women who are street-sweepers. Then the man approached them and gave them flowers.
Next was a vendor who was still selling her products even though it was raining.
The man who gave them flowers initially told them that the act was a token of appreciation and gratitude for what they are doing in the community.
After that, the social experiment team went near a hospital and there they spotted a medical practitioner who was having snack at a food stall.
The man then approached the doctor and gave her the rose that he was hiding at behind his back.
It was Myki who was still wearing her doctor’s robe and it was evident on her face that she was a bit surprised of why she was given a rose by a random stranger.
The daughter of the comedian then expressed her appreciation for the act.
“Nagulat syempre. Pero masaya actually, it’s ano. Nakakagaan ng loob,” she said.
“Ngayong panahong ‘to, may mga pinapatunayan na actually ang mga babae. Diba? Parang, kagaya ko, surgery. Madami, karamihan pa rin lalaki,” Myki Manalo added, based on the article.
