Coco Martin Shares Advice to Julia Montes in Doing Action Scenes
JULIA MONTES – Asintado actress Julia Montes shared what actor Coco Martin has shared with her when it comes to doing action scenes.
Julia Montes, one of the successful actresses of her generation, is now trying a different area in the field of acting. She is now into portraying a character of a woman who does not just sit back and cry but avenge what was done to her.
The Kapamilya actress is one of the main casts of ABS-CBN’s melodrama television series Asintado. It was just recently when it started to air on TV.
Julia Montes worked together with actress Shaina Magdayao and actors Paulo Avelino and Aljur Abrenica in the TV series directed by directors Onat Diaz, Jojo A. Saguin, and Lino Cayetano. It replaced Pusong Ligaw in the Kapamilya Gold afternoon block.
In Asintado, Julia is into making action scenes which is quite really far from the scenes that she used to do before. There are scenes that would require her to hold a gun.

Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), citing TV Patrol’s report, the Asintado actress admitted that she sought the advice of Coco Martin in doing action scenes. She gave an example of the advice given to her by the actor.
“Siyempre, lagi lang itse-check kapag hahawak ka ng baril. Siguraduhing walang laman kung itututok mo siya sa ka-eksena, sa co-actor mo, mga ganun.”
Based on the report, Julia Montes expressed that in the TV series really entails actions scenes. She cited that people are used to women just crying in TV series.
