The fans of Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara ranted over a post of a Facebook Page saying that she already passed away.
Obviously it was just one of the fake news posted on social media.
Based on the article published in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the FB Page ‘WTTPD’ posted on April 3 a photo of Kyline with the caption, “Kyline died @ 7:30 a.m. April 2, 2018, Tuesday. She died because of a car accident. Nagmamaneho siya ng mabunggo siya malapit sa fastfood chain sa Abad Santos St., Manila. Hindi po niya natapos ‘yung kabanata ng Kambal Karibal! We love you Kyline Alcantara. Rest in peace. Don’t forget to like my page.”
The post has already went viral after several days.
As of the writing, it already received more than 4 thousand reactions and it has been shared for over 2 thousand times.
Due to false information, the fans of the Kapuso star expressed their fury.
Facebook user ‘Hope Democrito Valencia’ said that the admin of the page should be reported while Facebook user ‘Rhea Joy Lastimoza Larenzana’ said the curse to the owner of the Page and even bid “rest in peace”.
There were also several netizens who cursed against whoever behind the post for spreading fake news on social media.
One netizen in the person of Kayla Krissilyn Quinto Callanta said that the admin of the said FB Page just did it in order to get the attention of many netizens.
