Karen Reyes had to revealed things about her relationship with Silent Sanctuary vocalist Sarkie Sarangay due to the photos she shared on IG.
Kapamilya actress Karen Reyes brought surprise to the world of social media as she recently posted a photo of her with Silent Sanctuary vocalist Sarkie Sarangay.
In the two photos which she posted with Sarkie, Karen was seen having sweet moments with him.
Based on the article published in kami.com.ph, the actress did not anticipated that her post could bring intrigue to other social media users.
Her initial intention was to share her photo during the Holy Week or summer vacation because she felt envious with others posting their summer escapades.
“Kasi nakikita ko sa Instagram ko everyone was posting for summer, for Holy Week, ganyan. Wala nainggit lang ako, try ko kaya mag-post. Eh wala akong ibang picture kundi yun,” Karen said.
She added that her vacation last Holy Week turned out to be the worst because it was unplanned and the destination where they went was not as good as they expected.
“So that’s the only picture that I have during Holy Week. So nainggit ako, sabi ko, ‘Try ko kayang mag-post.’ Hindi ko ini-expect na magkaka-write ups,” the Kapamilya actress said.
Aside from that revelation, Karen Reyes also revealed that she and Sarkie have a considerably big age gap.
The band vocalist is 14 years older than her now that she is 21.
“Ayoko na kasi magkuwento masyado, nahihiya ako. Actually nagulat din ako na, ‘Ay! Ganung taon ka na pala.’ Wala sa itsura niya nung nagkakilala kami,” she revealed.
On the other hand, that age gap was an advantage for their relationship, according to the actress.
It is for the reason that she does not worry that they will fight over petty things because her boyfriend is already mature and even if she is just 21, she admits that her way of thinking is also mature.
“Parang it’s more of matured kayo pareho. Kasi parang ganun ako, ganun ako nakita ng tao na parang hindi ako bata mag-isip at magsalita. Kasi I’m 21 pero I’m talking like I’m 35 or something. Parang siguro nag-jive kami dun sa maturity, ganyan,” Karen Reyes said, based on the article.
