Karla Estrada reveals the reason why she decided to share on social media her photos wearing one-piece swimsuit bikinis.
Kapamilya host Karla Estrada revealed the reason why she posted several of her swimsuit photos just recently.
It can be recalled that the host of ‘Magandang Buhay’ shared on her Instagram account her beach photos wearing one-piece bikinis.
These photos were captioned by the mother of Daniel Padilla with “Feeling sexy” and her post gathered various reactions from netizens, based on a previous article.
Some expressed negative comments while there were those who salute the morning talk show host for being confident of herself despite that she is a plus size.
In line with this, the true reason of Karla why she posted her bikini photos was revealed during the April 2 episode of ‘Magandang Buhay’.
According to an article published in PEP, she said that she wanted to open the minds of people in the Philippines regarding women with bigger body size.
“Parang karamihan kasi sa atin dito sa Pilipinas ay hindi bukas ang ating pang-unawa na kahit mataba ka, e, puwede kang mag-bathing suit. Medyo meron tayong ganun na parang napupulaan tayo,” she said.
The host added that big women are used not to go swimming in the beach wearing swimsuit but she pointed out that the beach is there to be enjoyed by everybody.
“So, huwag tayong mahihiya dahil hindi naman talaga sila ang bumili ng pagkain kaya tayo lumaki nang ganito,” the MB host jokingly stated.
Karla Estrada also pointed out her own reason why she wants to wear swimsuit is because she wants to inspire her fellow plus size women to do it also.
“Ako naman, gusto ko lang makatulong, magbigay ng inspirasyon sa mga kapwa natin Pilipinang medyo may kalakihan na, ‘Hello! May mga bathing suit na kakasya sa inyo. Magsuot kayo,” she iterated.
For the Kapamilya host, the point of wearing bathing suit is to have an even skin color while one is swimming and she encourages big women to be confident.
“Magsuot kayo ng gusto niyo as long as kaya niyong dalhin at confident ka sa kasuotan mo at, siyempre, magsusuot ka ng naaayon lang kung nasa’n ka.” Karla said, based on the article.
