Kaye Abad is finally engaged to Paul Jake Castillo.
Kapamilya actress Kaye Abad is now engaged to her boyfriend former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Paul Jake Castillo.
On Tuesday, entertainment writer Darla Sauler uploaded the proposal video on YouTube after the event happened. In the clip, Castillo was seen asking the hand of Abad for marriage.
“We started off as friends tapos naging partner in crime kita, best friend, tapos hindi mo talaga napigilan at ginawa mo akong boyfriend. Now I’d like to seal it. Will you marry me?” he said.
Castillo proposed during a surprise birthday party for Abad who turned 34. It took place at a high-rise building in Alabang.
On the image and video-sharing site Instagram, several friends of Abad, including comedian Pooh and actor-dancer John Prats congratulated the couple.
Casillo and Abad admitted their relationship in 2014. During a previous interview with the 34-year-old actress, she said that she will not have second thoughts if ever her boyfriend will propose.
She said that she is already old and she would only miss the opportunity if she refuse to marry Castillo.
“Ready na ako, kasi matanda na ako. Kung aarte pa ako, parang sinayang ko na lang rin, ‘di ba?” she said.
Castillo was previously in a relationship with actress Melissa Ricks, while Abad was in a relationship with Guji Lorenzana.
Abad and Castillo has yet to issue a statement regarding the engagement. Other details about on their upcoming marriage was not also announced.
