KZ Tandingan is another pride of the Philippines and the Filipino people. The Pinay singer recently went ahead of ‘Price Tag’ hitmaker Jessie J in China’s “Singer 2018”.

Based on a report, KZ owned the stage with her wonderful rendition of Adelle’s “Rolling in the Deep”. Lots of people were very happy with the success of the Pinay singer.

Many are very proud of KZ Tandingan including her singer boyfriend TJ Monterde. They have been together for three years. He recently stressed his girlfriend impressing her own idol.

KZ is vocal that Jessie J is her idol. Despite that it is a competition, the two singers have developed a wonderful bond and the Pinay pride is vocal that the UK pop icon is a source of encouragement for her.

Based on a report in ABS-CBN News, KZ Tandingan recently revealed that Jessie has helped her a lot in her performance by encouraging her.

The UK pop icon encouraged her to be proud of herself as she is one of the seven singers chosen to be part of the Singer 2018.

“Don’t let the results define you. Just do your best, sing your heart out,” Jessie J’s statement to KZ.

Based on the report, the British singer approached KZ Tandingan right after the ranking was announced. She told her not to cry anymore and she is great. In her response, the Pinay singer apologized for crying again.

According to KZ, after the announcement of the rankings, Jessie talked to her and admitted that everytime she sees her, she feels like KZ does not know that she is so good.

The Pinay singer shared that her idol advised her to pretend to be confident until it becomes a reality whenever she takes the stage with a nervous feeling. She encouraged her to do whatever her heart tells her to do.

Based on the report, humble KZ Tandingan stressed that she is grateful for the opportunity to be on a show with her idol Jessie J. According to her, Jessie being rank two does not make her less of an artist and it does not mean that she is better than the UK pop icon.

“Hindi ibig sabihin na mas magaling ako kay Jessie J, or mas magaling si Jessie J sa akin. It’s just that during that episode, iyon ‘yung hinahanap na feeling ng audience,” she said.
