Lovi Poe expressed her thoughts towards those people who criticized Heart Evangelista for not having a child and calling her “baog”.
It is known in the Philippine showbiz industry that Kapuso actresses Lovi Poe and Heart Evangelista are really close friends.
They have already shared years of friendship with each other and it is just normal that they would defend if one of them gets oppressed especially harsh words from bashers.
With regards to that, Lovi recently shared the brave words she said against those who have been criticizing her friend Heart for not having a child despite of being married to Senator Chiz Escudero for several years now, based on the article recently published in kami.com.ph.
There were some netizens who called the wife of the politician as “baog” or barren and she was even caught in the middle of fiery arguments on social media last year because of that.
During the press conference of Lovi Poe’s new movie titled The Significant Others with Erich Gonzales and Tom Rodriguez, she answered back to those who have been bashing her friend.
She iterated that Heart is a wonderful person and there is no reason for other people to bash her just because she does not have a child yet.
“Oh, I have nothing but love for Heart and she’s an amazing human being. I don’t think it’s fair for any woman to get bashed for like, not choosing to have a baby just yet,” the actress said.
Lovi added that it is a woman’s choice if she wants or does not want to get pregnant.
“Kasi choice rin naman ng tao. You know, when someone is prepared or not. Yung sariling tao ang makakaalam kung prepared siya o hindi. You know what, let this girl be,” she iterated.
