Why did Maja Salvador refuse to do a film for the MMFF 2017?
MAJA SALVADOR – Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador revealed that she was previously offered to do a film for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 but she turned down the offer.
Actress Maja Salvador is currently starring the ABS-CBN revenge television series Wildflower. The said the TV series has hooked lots of viewers and fans.
Maja worked with actors Tirso Cruz III, Joseph Marco, RK Bagatsing, Vin Abrenica, Wendell Ramos, and Christian Vasquez and actresses Sunshine Cruz and Aiko Melendez in the TV series.
Wildflower is now down to its last few weeks and the scenes are getting more intense. Based on a recent report in Pep, Maja Salvador believes that her hard work for the TV series is “worth it”.
According to the actress, the TV series was extended several times. She is grateful to the Almighty for it.
Aside from doing the Wildflower, Maja revealed that she was also offered to do a movie for the MMFF 2017 but she refused the project.
Based on the report, the actress was offered to do a horror movie but she turned it down to be with her family last December.
Maja Salvador expressed that she really allot her December for her family. She and her sibling visited their mother who has recently migrated to Canada.
The actress’ mom Thelma Andres migrated after officially tying the knot with Canadian Roy Linklater.
Based on the report, Maja also said that it would be her first time to spend Christmas and New Year away from her mother if she would accept the horror project offered to her.
“Sabi ko nga, kapag may libre na buwan or hindi gaano ka-busy, pupunta-punta kami dun,” she said.
Maja Salvador’s TV series is now gearing up for its finale. The actress who is one of the regular performers in the ABS-CBN Sunday show ASAP is currently on a temporary absence from the show.
The actress previously expressed that her camp has sought the permission from ASAP as she is concerned about her well-being. She will be back in the show after the finale of Wildflower.
