Mari Jasmine and Samantha Lee called out news sites for headlines about their relationship.
Model Mari Jasmine, who is the former girlfriend of actor Sam Milby, reacted to the news headlines about her recently revealed relationship with director Samantha Lee.
It can be recalled that Sam and Mari broke up early this year after being together since 2016. Sam revealed about their separation Last March.
Almost four months after, Mari shocked the world of social media when she revealed that she is now in a relationship with ‘Baka Bukas’ director Samantha Lee.
In line with this, different media entities reported about their story, as what was mentioned in a previous article.
On the other hand, Mari and Samantha cried foul to how some news sites wrote the title of the report about them.
The couple that happily celebrated the Pride Month of LGBTQA+ community, took to social media their criticisms to the headlines about them which was written in a popular news site.
Based on the photos posted in Fashion Pulis, Samantha and Mari obviously did not like how the title referred to them as a couple.
Mari Jasmine said that one headline had irrelevant information. She was referring to the phrase “Sam Milby’s ex”.
“I am a woman with my own story and identity who doesn’t need to be defined by past relationships,” she pointed out.
However, the model commended the headline of FP.
Samantha Lee, on her part, posted a correction to the headline of a mainstream news site.
For the director, it should be:
“Strong independent gal, Mari Jasmine opens up on relationship with ‘Baka Bukas’ director Sam Lee.”
She also pointed out that it was an evidence of bad reporting.
