Neil Perez relates what happened in his motorcycle accident that led to temporary amnesia
Mr. International 2014 Neil Perez who is also a part-time model and full-time bomb explosives technician of Philippine National Police’s Aviation Security Group, finally talked about the motorcycle accident that almost took his life.
It was mentioned in a previous article that Neil had a temporary amnesia after the motorcycle he was driving crashed a few meters away from their home in Delpan, Tondo.
Because of the impact, he lost his consciousness and he can’t recall what happened during the accident.
After that near-death experience, Neil Perez shared about the temporary amnesia he had.
Based on the article published in PEP, he was able to went home after the accident but there was already something unusual to his behavior.
“Pag-uwi ko raw, sinasabi ko lumulutang ako, nakausap ko si Jesus Christ… may ganun,” he recalled the conversation he had with his mother.
After that, he just woke up in a hospital and he would say to his family that he already slept for a long time when in fact he did not fall asleep yet.
The doctor said that it was due to the trauma he got from the accident.
“Minsan nakakalimutan ko yung mga… Kasi may bumibisitang kaibigan. ‘Umalis na pala si ganito?’ ‘Ano ka ba, di ka pa natutulog,’ sabi sa akin,” he shared.
Fortunately, after more than a month since that accident happened, he gradually gaining his memory back.
However, he can’t still remember what happened during the accident or how the accident happened.
“Pero yung mismong aksidente, wala talaga akong maalala hanggang ngayon,” Neil Perez revealed, based on the article.
The children who helped warn the coming vehicles in order to inform drivers that he was lying unconscious in the street were the ones who related to him what happened.
