The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is happening today, here our some details about their most-awaited union.
May 19, 2018 – This day finally arrives when Britain’s Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle tie the knot.
They will exchange vows at the St. George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The couple chose to said chapel because it is where the Prince was christened when he was three years old.
It can accommodate 800 guests and the Abbey seats can hold 2,000 people.
The couple wanted the public to be a part of their wedding.
Aside from that, its setting within Horseshoe Cloisters and the Henry VIII gate will give their famous friends and family some privacy, based on the report in The Sun.
Philippa Craddock is the floral designer and that will include white garden roses, foxgloves and peonies.
For their wedding cake, the couple will have lemon elderflower cake from Claire Ptak of London-based Violet Bakery.
Initially, the father of Meghan Markle, Thomas Markle, is supposed to be the one who will walk her down the aisle.
However, had suffered health complications and public embarrassment after he posed for staged paparazzi photos, according to a report.
It was confirmed on May 17 that Meghan’s father will no longer accompany her.
A day after that, it was confirmed that Prince Charles will walk her future daughter-in-law down the aisle.
It was announced that during the wedding, planes have been banned to fly over Windsor.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding will happen in midday and at 1 PM, they will travel though Windsor in a carriage.
After that, they will travel along Castle Hill, High Street, Sheet Street, Kings Road, Albert Road, Long Walk and back to Windsor Castle.
The couple will return to St. George’s Hall for their reception.
Prince Charles will also give private evening reception for the couple and their close friends and family, based on a report.
