The ex-boyfriend of Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo reacted to her engagement with longtime boyfriend singer-actor Matteo Guidicelli.
Matteo and Sarah, known together as AshMatt, surprised the online community on the night of November 7. The singer-actor posted a photo of him with the Popstar Princess on his Instagram account with the caption: “I love you my love, now and forever.” Although Matteo did not directly state anything about engagement in his post, the comment section was rained with “congratulations”. One of the many celebrities who commented on the post is Kapuso actor-host Rayver Cruz. He said, “Yesssurrr brotha!!! congrats!!!!!”

Based on the article from Abante Entertainment, Sarah and Rayver dated before. Ten years ago, rumors circulated that they were dating. However, the mother of the Popstar Princess, Mommy Divine Geronimo, was not in favor of the blooming romance between them. Reportedly, that really saddened the singer-actress but she followed her mother’s will not to see Rayver again. According to reports, that was the first heartbreak of Sarah Geronimo.
In 2011, the singer-actress did a movie with Matteo Guidicelli titled Catch Me… I’m In Love. The latter was linked to her but their dating days did not last. In 2016, Sarah and Matteo admitted they were exclusively dating, based on the article. Three years after that, they had their engagement announcement. At the time of writing, the couple has not released an official statement yet regarding their engagement.
