Suzette Doctolero defended Mocha Uson against negative poll on Twitter with the question, “Anong gagawin mo pag nakasalubong mo si Mocha?”
Writer Suzette Doctolero of GMA network defended Assistant Communications Secretary Mocha Uson against a poll on Twitter.
Twitter user @mrsunlawyer posted a poll on Twitter with the question, “Anong gagawin mo pag nakasalubong mo si Mocha?”
The options were “hihingan ko ng autograph”, “papatirin ko”, “kakaladkarin by the hair”, and “sisigawan ko ng TONTA”.
Most of the netizens who voted in the said poll chose the third option. They will pull the hair of the PCOO Assistant Secretary once they saw her in person.
In line with this, Suzette Doctolero criticized the tweet against Mocha Uson. The writer lambasted the feminist critics of the Asec., based on the article published in Pinoy Trend.
The Kapuso writer said that people should allow the idea that someone could be a better person even if she was previously a “hubadera”.
Women against a woman. Tuloy ang Mocha bashing. When are we going to accept that there's another way of thinking? At di lang dilaw o anti? At kelan natin maaaccept na pwede pa ring umangat ang isang babae kahit dating naghubad? Kaloka kayo. https://t.co/8QGxMhmLdi

She also stressed out that instead of pulling Mocha down, her fellow women should help her.

For the writer, the Twitter poll against the Asec. is a work of “pseudo feminist wanting to inflict harm to her fellow woman”.
And we have this pseudo feminist wanting to inflict harm sa isa ring babae. Diosmio, sisterhood! ito po ang nagagawa ng inggit, hatred at arrogance. Nakakalimutan ang real essence ng peminismo. https://t.co/djsZ1QX6oy

Suzette even iterated the true meaning of feminism and pointed out that bashing Mocha will not make a woman more beautiful and intelligent.
Feminism is accepting every woman as your equal, kahit ano pa siya, past, status, race, religion, beliefs, at magsuportahan para sa ikakaunlad ng isat isa. But now we have these arroragant hags who thought ikakaganda't ikinatalino nila ang mocha bashing. Tsk. Nakakahiya kayo.

She also said that she is worried of the fact that there are a lot of women bashing their fellow women instead of uplifting them.
Whats bothersome for me ay ito: mas maraming babae na kilala, ang nagmomocha bashing kesa nageencourage. Kesa nag constructive criticism. Mas maraming lalaki pa ang nagtatanggol kay mocha not because maniac sila, but coz makatao sila. Nyeta, sisterhood, seriously, anyare?

For Suzette Doctolero, the best way to approach the shortcomings of Mocha Uson is to correct her and not bash her.
Purveyor of fake news kamo? Then icorrect siya sa pagkakamali. Bobo kamo? Encourage her to study. Thats feminisim and sisterhood. Otherwise, inggit lang yan. Kasi effective siyang PRRD propagandist. Yun lang yun.

Based on the report, Mocha had been receiving criticisms since the time she expressed her support to President Rodrigo Duterte during the 2016 elections.
The attack against her even magnified when she was appointed as the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary.
