Have Toni Gonzaga communicated with John Lloyd Cruz recently?
TONI GONZAGA – Kapamilya actress-television host Toni Gonzaga revealed her side on the blossoming relationship between her Home Sweetie Home co-stars John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna.
John Lloyd Cruz has yet to return to his work as an actor after taking an ‘indefinite leave’ from showbiz last year. Based on a report, his decision to take a temporary rest from showbiz followed the controversy over the circulation of his personal videos on social media.
The Kapamilya actor flew abroad and was spotted with actress Ellen Adarna in several beautiful places outside the country. Prior to their vacation abroad, the two celebrities were spotted on a beach in Cebu together with some friends.
John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna’s sweet photos and captions on social media ignited the then-speculations that they are officially a couple. The two celebrities are both part of the ABS-CBN situational comedy show Home Sweetie Home.
In the said show, the Kapamilya actor plays the role of Romeo Valentino, the husband of Julie Matahimik-Valentino, the character played by actress Toni Gonzaga.
When John Lloyd took a break from showbiz, actor Piolo Pascual joined Toni and the rest of the casts of the show. Meanwhile, he stressed that it is John Lloyd’s show and he cannot take it away from him.
Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), Toni Gonzaga admitted that she’s aware of the blossoming relationship between her Home Sweetie Home co-stars John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna but she cannot comment about it.
According to the actress-TV host, whenever her husband director Paul Soriano would ask her about what she can say about it, she expresses that she does not know what to say as she has no idea about it.
“In the beginning, I wasn’t informed, I was given like heads up that there was something going on so wala akong masasabi na makakadagdag o makakabawas sa sitwasyon,” Toni said.
Based on the report, the last time that Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd Cruz were able to talk was during the last time that she worked with him in the show. The actress said that it was in September as it was prior to the birthday of her son Seve.
According to Toni, they haven’t talked since then and she was not able to communicate with him as “there was so much going on” and the media were “feasting on the issue”.
“Dahil nakatrabaho ko na rin siya naman ng matagal na panahon, parang gusto mong ibigay sa kanya ‘yung time na ‘yun,” Toni Gonzaga reportedly expressed.
