Yam Concepcion Reveals Real Relationship w/ Halik Co-Star Yen Santos Off-Cam
YAM CONCEPCION – Kapamilya actress Yam Concepcion revealed her relationship with her Halik co-star Yen Santos off the camera.
Currently, one of the television series that is about to reach its finale is the ABS-CBN’s primetime drama series Halik. It is top-billed by Jericho Rosales, Yen Santos, Yam Concepcion, and Sam Milby.
Echo and Yen play the characters of Lino Bartolome and Jacky Montefalco respectively who were betrayed by their partners. Yam (Jade Bartolome) and Sam (Ace Corpuz) had an affair.
A lot of people were hooked by Halik and many were triggered by the portrayal of Yam Concepcion of her character. Undeniably, many want Yen Santos and Jericho Rosales’ characters to end up together again.
Recently, on Tonight With Boy Abunda, Yam Concepcion appeared as a guest and revealed her real relationship with her Halik co-star Yen Santos.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Yam admitted that she would not describe her ties with Yen as a friendship but she clarified that they are not enemies. She would rather call them acquaintances.
“I don’t want to be plastic kasi… I want to be real as possible. Sa ginagalawan nating industriya, parang palagi na lang yung you’re always on the safe side, you’re going to say what people want to hear,” she said.
According to Yam Concepcion, she and Yen Santos don’t belong in the same production unit but she is hoping that they also had the time to talk and develop friendship.
Based on the report, her stint in Halik has gained Yam a friend in Nina Dolina who plays the character of Marissa, Jade Bartolome’s best friend in the TV series.
According to the actress, her definition of a friend is someone she can trust to, talk to, and is really with her and that is what Nina is.
“Iyon yung, alam niya yung personal life ko, kinikuwento ko sa kanya, and I trust her. It’s nice na nakahanap ka ng ganu’n,” she said.
Currently, Halik is down to its last two(2) nights and, surely, many are eager on what will happen next.
