Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda expressed his gratitude on social media to everyone who helped clear his wife, Neri Naig-Miranda, of all charges filed against her.
Attorney Aureli Sinsuat announced that the Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 112 dismissed the syndicated estafa complaint against Neri on the morning of March 4.
It can be recalled that in 2024, Neri was arrested due to allegations of estafa and violations of the Securities Regulation Code. She was accused of enticing individuals to invest in a skincare company that was not authorized to solicit public investments, as per the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
However, all charges were dropped after the court found no probable cause to indict her in connection with the skincare company’s activities.
Following the court ruling, Chito stood firm in defending his wife, stating that those who truly know Neri can testify to her kindness, integrity, and dedication—not just as an entrepreneur but also as a hardworking mother.
Family and friends of the actress-entrepreneur welcomed the court’s decision, expressing relief and joy over the dismissal of all charges against her.
