As the investigation into the sudden disappearance of beauty queen Catherine Camilon unfolds, a significant development occurred with the surrender of the driver and bodyguard of the main suspect in the said crime.
Jeffrey Magpantay, the driver and bodyguard of Major Allan De Castro, the primary suspect in the case, voluntarily turned himself into the Balayan Police. Magpantay stated that he is willing to cooperate with authorities to facilitate the investigation into Catherine’s disappearance.
This event adds another layer to the mystery surrounding Catherine Camilon’s disappearance, a beauty queen who vanished unexpectedly three months ago. According to two witnesses, they observed three men transferring a bloodied woman believed to be Catherine into a red SUV. The driver, Magpantay, is pointed out by the two witnesses as the one who allegedly carried a firearm when the incident occurred.
During the second hearing held today at the Batangas City Hall of Justice, Major Allan De Castro was absent, claiming illness. However, despite his absence, the investigation into Catherine’s disappearance continues.
Currently, authorities are preparing for the third preliminary investigation scheduled for January 17, 2024. This hearing will play a crucial role in the pursuit of justice for Catherine Camilon. In her three months of absence, Catherine’s family and the entire community are hopeful that the involvement of De Castro and Magpantay in this incident will be clarified.
With the collaboration of witnesses, authorities, and the relatives of the missing Catherine, everyone remains optimistic that her case will be resolved and justice will be served.
