Dela Rosa, the PNP chief Director led SAF members in taking over the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City. This was part of anti-illegal drugs campaign of President Duterte’s order to the Philippine National Police (PNP) to maintain the peace and safety of the Filipino.
SAF is taking over the New Bilibid Prison to crack down the drug syndicate in the nine-hectare prison community. According to a report, PNP chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa led the operation to crack down on drug lords that was named by President Duterte.
In a report, the SAF searched the place and confiscated cash, electronic gadgets and signal boosters from the inmates. The report said that it was the first duty of the 300 heavily armed police commandos and conducted a raid on the Building 14 where 33 high-profile inmates was confined.
