DWAYNE JOHNSON POSTIVIE FOR COVID-19 – Former wrestler and actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced that he and his entire family tested positive for the new coronavirus.
Several big celebrity names came out saying they tested positive for COVID-19. Among these celebrities were Tom Hanks, who contracted the virus in Australia along with his wife.
Now, in his Instagram account, Dwayne Johnson revealed that his entire family contracted COVID-19. Luckily, the actor said they were at the “other end” of COVID-19, where unlike others, they do not have severe symptoms of the virus.
In his Instagram account, he posted a video updating what happened to their family in the past weeks. The actor said:
My wife, Lauren, as well as my two baby girls, and my self, have tested positive for COVID-19. And I could tell you that this had been one of the most challenging things we had to endure as a family.
However, a few minutes into the video, Johnson had some good news for his fans as he said that they are no longer contagious. “We are, thank God, we are healthy. We have come out of COVID-19 stronger and healthier”, the actor said.
Still, Johnson urged the public to be vigilant against the virus as he said not everybody was as lucky as his family. He recalled that some of his bestfriends’ had already lost their loved ones to the virus that he described as “relentless and insidious”.
Currently, there are over 26,176,114 cases of COVID-19 around the globe. Meanwhile, the United States remains to be the most affected country. Unfortunately, the deadly virus has already killed more than 860,000 people worldwide.
As such, The Rock reminded the public to:
Stay disciplined.
Boost your immune system.
Commit to wellness.
Wear your mask.
Protect your family.
Be strict about having people over your house or gatherings.
Stay positive.
And care for your fellow human beings.
