Daniel hails from Lagos, Nigeria, but in 2015, he decided to study in the Philippines. He chose to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Paul University Philippines, located in Tuguegarao City, Cabanatuan. That’s where his journey as a content creator began, using the name Tugue Zombie. Currently, he has 1.1 million followers on TikTok and 1.8 million on Facebook. “Tugue” is derived from Tuguegarao, where he studied and worked for eight years.

He achieved his dream of completing college on July 18, 2022, graduating with a degree in Nursing. Before becoming part of the Dabarkads, Zombie made a virtual appearance on the February 18, 2022 episode of “Bawal Judgmental,” a segment of Eat Bulaga, alongside other Foreignoy content creators from various parts of the country.

On July 13, 2023, Zombie was invited to be part of the spiritual successor of E.A.T called “Bawal Judgmental, Babala! ‘Wag Kayong Ganuuun’.” His lively banter with Allan K. and Miles Ocampo quickly made him a crowd favorite, leading to his appearance trending on social media.

Following his trending performance on the segment, he was invited again the next day, July 14, 2023, to be a co-host of “Sugod Bahay, Mga Kapatid!” where he joined fellow hosts Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, and MJ Lastimosa in visiting barangays across the country.

Currently, he has become a regular host of E.A.T in their celebration of the 44th Anniversary of Eat Bulaga! on July 29, 2023, titled “National Dabarkads Day,” alongside original hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.

Before gaining recognition in Eat Bulaga, Zombie was already known for his vlogs due to his proficiency in speaking Tagalog and his humorous content. In one of his Instagram posts, Zombie showcased his place and house in Nigeria, including the emotional reunion with his parents. According to him, his parents didn’t know exactly when he would arrive, but they knew he was coming.

At present, it’s still uncertain whether Zombie’s return to Nigeria is permanent or just a vacation.
