Granada ’s 3-H Input To Hit The Music Spot

Gary Granada advises vocalists and composers 3-H technique.

To hit a spot in the music industry, Gary Granada advices vocalists and composers to exhibit humility, humor and hard work.

In the recent Elements National Singing Songwriting Camp of 7107 Music Nation, Granada said that being humble will make one exert hard work in his job.

Other legends in the music industry, Ryan Cayabyab, Jim Paredes, Noel Cabangon and Chito Miranda also affirmed Granada’s first ‘H’.

They even added that to be humble is to recognize the music skills of those who are better than you.

With humility, a musically-skilled person will feel encouraged to do more to reach his maximum potentials in this field where he is gifted by the One.

Granada’s next ‘H’ is humor. The singer-songwriter advises that vocalists and composers must know how to treat their performance light at times.

He sees the second ‘H’ as a way not to lose one’s insanity as work sometimes will really drive you crazy.

In his compositions, “Pag Natatalo ang Ginebra,” “Kung Ayaw Mo Na sa Akin,” and “Mabuti Pa Sila”, it is evident that the 56-year-old singer-composer has a very good sense of humor.

Hard work, the last and final advice of the music legend.

Granada stressed that it is important to get hold and play your instrument the moment you get up from bed in the morning.

May it be a flute, a guitar, or any music instrument, Gary emphasized that one must value it when he chooses the music field.

“Salamat Musika,” “Bahay,” “Kahit Konti” and “Saranggola sa Ulan” were just some of Granada’s compositions that left a mark in the music industry.

The singer-composer affirmed that he has already left his former life that is entangled with music but he could still feel the cravings to perform.
