“We’re not together anymore. It was a mutual decision to move forward individually, so we’re okay. We’re good friends,” Peralejo said.
The actress also expressed hope that fans would continue to support them both, even though their romantic relationship has ended. “Sana maintindihan ‘yun ng mga nagmamahal sa’min and tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang pag-suporta kahit we’re on a different path na,” she added, asking for understanding from their supporters.
Peralejo and Gallo, popularly known by their onscreen tandem name “MarVen,” gained a strong following after working together on several projects under Viva Artists Agency. Their chemistry on-screen sparked real-life romance, which was confirmed publicly in past interviews and social media posts.
