Actress and social media personality Ivana Alawi has once again addressed rumors linking her to a controversial relationship, declaring she is not a homewrecker. The declaration came during her latest YouTube vlog, where she participated in a lie detector challenge alongside her mother, Fatima, and siblings, Hash and Mona.
In the video, each family member took turns being hooked up to a polygraph test, with a twist: any incorrect or deceptive answer meant eating a chicken wing dipped in scorching hot sauce—a playful mix inspired by Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Series and the hit web show Hot Ones.
During Ivana’s turn, younger sister Mona posed a pointed question: had Ivana ever caused a family to break apart? Ivana firmly answered “No.”
“Hindi ako pinalaking manira ng pamilya. I respect family kasi kami nga broken family,” Ivana told the camera directly. “Ano ’to, tapos maninira ako ng family? Siraulo ka pala eh. Okay!”
The polygraph confirmed her answer was truthful.
The video also revealed other personal tidbits: Ivana admitted to crying in secret over a man, having a secret Instagram account, and dating someone not featured in her vlogs. She also confirmed Mona is her favorite sibling. The only lie detected was when Ivana denied thinking she was the most beautiful member of the family—an answer the machine flagged as false. Ivana clarified that she used to think her older sister, Amira, was prettier, but now believes she is more beautiful.
The vlog comes amid renewed public scrutiny following reports last month that Dominique Lopez, ex-wife of Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez, filed an affidavit accusing the mayor of violating the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act. Dominique reportedly alleged emotional distress caused by Albee’s suspected infidelity, and although she admitted to lacking concrete evidence, she allegedly mentioned Ivana as a possible third party.
Albee Benitez previously denied any romantic involvement with Ivana.
Ivana has remained mostly silent on the issue, but her candid vlog serves as a subtle yet firm denial. With millions of followers watching her every move, Ivana appears to be setting the record straight—on camera, with hot sauce, and a lie detector to back her up.
