Japoy Lizardo, the Taekwondo champ and Milo commercial model who rose to fame in ’90s is set to tie the knot with his fiancé Janice Lagman.

He is the cute Taekwondo champion who have starred in several commercials of a chocolate malt beverage, Milo.
Japoy whose real name is John Paul Lizardo is now 29-years-old and he is set to marry his fiancé Janice Lagman who’s also a Taekwondo practioner and the coach of Poomsae Varsity Team of the University of the Philippines (UP).
On April 11, 2016, Japoy Lizardo took to image-sharing site Instagram where he shared a sneak peek of their wedding invitation.
It can be recalled that Japoy Lizardo and Janice Lagman’s Taekwondo-theme prenuptial previously went viral. The prenup was uploaded by Sorrelle Isles Film Co. last April 6, 2016 on Vimeo.

According to PEP.ph, the two are set to tie the knot in May 2016. However, they did not divulge the exact date regarding their upcoming wedding.
Japoy Lizardo first caught the attention of many Taekwondo enthusiast after he captured the silver medal in the men’s finweight at the 2001 Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships.
During his stint at the senior stage of the Asian Taekwondo Championships, he won three medals (one bronze and two silvers). In 2007 and 2009, he competed in the World Taekwondo Championships.
However, due to a leg injury, he decided to quit as a member of the Philippine men’s taekwando team in November 2015.
The Taekwondo champ/commercial model was one of the 14 scholar-athletes of the Olympic Solidarity Movement which is under the Philippine Olympic Committee.
