Is Jovit Baldivino ready to settle down?
Former Pilipinas Got Talent(PGT) grand winner Jovit Baldivino is currently being rumored to marry his non-showbiz girlfriend Shara Chavez.
In an exclusive interview of the 22-year-old singer with ABS-CBN News, he said that he believes his girlfriend is “the one” for him.
During his interview at the launching of Tunog Star Magic on Monday, July 25, 2016, he shared his happiness with his former fan who later turned to be his girlfriend.
“Sobrang proud ako sa kanya. Ang lakas ng loob niya at hindi siya natakot sa (sasabihin) ng iba. Hindi siya natatakot ma-bash o makabaaa ng ‘di magandang comment, wala eh. Love ko siya,” he said.
However, he stated that they are not ready to tie the knot.
“Mag-iipon muna ako, magpapayaman muna kami. Pero sana siya na kasi napakabait niya,” Jovit Baldivino added, noting how supportive and understanding his girlfriend is particularly with his schedule and career as a singer.
The singer shared that his family gets along with his girlfriend well.
Jovit Baldivino denied allegations that she is just using him. He even stressed that she has no intention of joining showbiz.
“Hindi siya ganoon sa akin. Napaka-business-minded niya, tinuturuan niya ako sa business, kasi gusto niya ng magandang buhay,” he added.
Jovit Baldivino came to prominence when he won the first season of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2010 which was hosted by Luis Mazano and Billy Crawford with Ai-Ai delas Alas, Kris Aquino, and Freddie M. Garcia as the judges. He ousted other contestants with his powerhouse performances of some of the classic hits including Journey’s Faithfully.
