Veteran entertainment columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis will be cremated on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. The announcement was made by talk show host Boy Abunda during the July 7 episode of his program, Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

“Bukas ng hapon, nakatakda po ang cremation ng mga labi ni Manay Lolit,” said Abunda, referring to Solis by her popular nickname in the industry.
Solis passed away at the age of 78 due to a heart attack while confined in a hospital, according to her daughter Sneezy, who earlier confirmed the news through a short statement. The entertainment industry mourned the loss of one of its most influential and colorful figures, whose decades-long career helped shape Philippine showbiz.
Lolit Solis rose to prominence not only as a hard-hitting columnist but also as a trusted talent manager and popular television host.
