Louise Delos Reyes explained why she’s not able to play daring roles after her last project Hanggang Kailan. She admitted that she gave her best to her previous project.
“Sabi ko kay Direk after ng Hanggang Kailan sabi ko, ‘Direk parang hindi ko muna kaya… hindi ko muna kaya.’ Parang natodo ko na ata sa Hanggang Kailan,” Louise Delos Reyes said. “Kasi kahit dati naman na, never ko pa din siyang ginawa. I think kasi ako sa sarili ko, desisyon ko yon kasi meron tayong gustong path outside showbiz naalam mo yon… ayokong magkaroon ng taint or madumihan. Saka meron din akong kapatid na lalaki, kaya din never akong nag-say yes sa mga men’s magazine before kasi ayokong aasarin sila dahil sa trabaho ko.“
According to the director of My Bakit List, Bona Fajardo, the said film doesn’t require Louise Delos Reyes to play daring scenes along with Ivan Padilla.
“Tsaka ang hirap i-expain sa non-showbiz yun mga ginagawa ko,” Louise added. “Time mo pa nga lang di mo na ma-explain how much more yung trabaho pa mismo.“
Louise also said that her non-showbiz boyfriend allowed her to do daring scenes.
“Desisyon ko na rin siya. Hindi na din dahil sa kanya, dahil na rin sa akin. I’m 27 years old, sa iba kapag 27 ka na you will accept more daring roles kasi matanda ka na,” Louise said. “No, para sa akin hindi, eh. It’s the other way… I don’t! Mas lalong hindi ko nagusto.“
Louise said that she’s okay with her love life and she’s happy with her boyfriend.
