After Lovi Poe announced her engagement to her boyfriend Monty Blencowe, she posted a video on her Instagram that quickly went viral.
Lovi Poe is part of a television series remake based on her father’s (Fernando Poe Jr.) old movie “Batang Quiapo,” alongside Coco Martin. The action-comedy film was released on October 16, 1986, featuring Fernando Poe Jr., Maricel Soriano, and other renowned actors under the direction of Pablo Santiago.
This was followed by the successful television series “Ang Probensyano,” also starring Coco Martin, which was also a remake of an old FPJ movie.
In a rare instance, Lovi Poe shared a heartfelt scene on her Instagram involving Tanggol (Coco Martin) and Mokang (played by herself) from the show. The scene featured intense emotions and genuine love between the characters and the behind-the-scenes process of filming the scene with the rest of the crew. Lovi included the caption “What you would do for love π” in her post. This garnered various reactions from fans.
