Margarita Fores was featured in Culinary Journeys of CNN after she waved the Philippine flag in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards, she was also known as Asia’s Best Female Chef for 2016.
Fores was featured in Season 2 of CNN Culinary Journeys, a series that challenges the best chef in the world to come out in their kitchen and experience the culinary culture of different countries.
French Chef, Hélène Darroze was brought in Edinburgh, Scotland to be featured in the last episode of Culinary Journeys.
According to the report of balita.net, the award-winning episode of Pinay will be launched in Thursday, May 19, 4:30 in the afternoon HKT.
Fores is the mastermind behind the known and successful restaurant such as Cibo, Lusso, Grace Park and Alta. She is also famous world-wide because of her Filipina style in cooking Italian Foods.
She is also one of those who prepares welcome dinner for delegates and leader in a different country in 2015 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit that was held in the Philippines last November.
Although she was a Certified Public Accountant, Fores decided to establish her own restaurant on 1987 when she returned in the Philippines from Italy.
According to the website of The World’s 50 Best, Fores recently opened the Casa Artussi Philippines, the first campus in Asia of a renowned Italian culinary school.
