Mariel Rodriguez talks about third pregnancy.
Actress-host Mariel Rodriguez has opened up about her third pregnancy. The Kapamilya star is expecting a baby with award-winning action star Robin Padilla after suffering two miscarriages.
In an interview with the reporters, the “It’s Showtime” host said that the she did not expect her pregnancy as she is not trying to be pregnant again.
Rodriguez also said that it’s really true that it will come when you least expect it.
“We weren’t trying. Actually, we were avoiding it but then it happened. That’s why I feel that it’s really meant to be this time,” she said.
According to Rodriguez, she didn’t want to try getting pregnant anymore, but she prefers to focus on her work to forget the pain.
Rodriguez lost her first child in March. In August, her pregnancy resulted in an unfortunate incident, losing what seemed to be triplets.
Earlier, comedian-host Ogie Diaz confirmed that she is pregnant again.
Rodriguez, who is now three months pregnant, said that she refused to make announcements earlier since she is waiting for the approval of her doctor.
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old actress will still continue to work in “It’s Showtime.” Rodriguez admitted that she is supposed to take a complete bed rest, but refused since the show doesn’t make her feel the need to leave.
“Dapat talaga complete bed rest ako. Pero sabi nga ni Robin, we don’t feel ‘It’s Showtime’ is giving me any stress. So pumapasok pa rin ako,” she added.
