Miss Universe PH Sorsogon Candidate Recovers From Coronavirus
MISS UNIVERSE PH SORSOGON – Maria Isabela Galeria, Sorsogon’s candidate for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is back on the runway after recovering from COVID-19.
Health authorities green-lit the release of Galeria, her father, and another person from quarantine. As such, they could now return to their homes. Along with this, photos of the Miss U candidate being discharged from the quarantine facility was also posted on social media.
It was late September when Galeria announced that she tested positive for COVID-19. The nurse/beauty queen said she called all the people she had been in close contact with. Luckily, all of them had tested negative for the virus.
Currently, Galeria has not been vocal about her recovery. However, she has been active on social media this week uploading photos from several shoots. Afterward, her fans showed support by giving her a warm welcome following her brief absence from social media.
Meanwhile, in one of Galeria’s posts on Instagram, she captioned a quote from former United States First Lady, Michelle Obama: “You can’t make decisions based on fear and the possibility of what might happen”.
Surely, this could relate to her time under quarantine. Along with this, it could also be a summation of her experience under quarantine as having the coronavirus is definitely something serious.
