Uson and Montano’s movie project has no hint of corruption
Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson clarified that the budget for her movie project with Cesar Montano did not came from the government fund.
The veteran actor will be the one who will direct the movie and Asec. will play the role of a reporter.
Based on the article published in Bandera, the advocacy film will star Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin.
Aside from the financial concern, Uson also cleared out that her duties and responsibilities as the PCOO Asec. is not being compromised as she is shooting the movie.
She said that her shooting schedule is fine and she still fulfills her office hours as a government employee.
The former singer-dancer also said that she is doing the movie for the love or for free. It is for the reason that she believes in the advocacy of the movie.
Reportedly, veteran actress Jean Garcia is also included in the movie.
Based on the article, there is a possibility that this movie will be controversial knowing that Uson and Montano are together in this project.
The two celebrities who became public servants have their fair share of controversy.
Montano as a former chief of Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), left his position following the ‘Buhay Carinderia’ controversy.

Just recently, the Commission on Audit (COA) declared in a report that his travels during the time that he was the TPB chief were excessive and extravagant.

Uson also has numerous controversy in the past and until she was appointed in a government position.
She has been accused of proliferating fake news on social media through her blogs.
