Moira dela Torre, known for her popular “hugot” songs in the Philippine music industry, received nomination from MTV Europe Music Awards for the category of Best Southeast Asian Act.
The nominations for this year’s Best Southeast Asian Act were revealed Tuesday. Nominations for the said category include Moira from the Philippines, Rich Brian of Indonesia, Yuna of Malaysia, Jasmine Sokko of Singapore, Jannine Weigel of Thailand, and Suboi of Vietnam.

Fans can click here to cast their vote. The results of the poll will reveal on November 3 during the awards ceremony in Spain.
The nomination arrived a month after Moira held a successful concert at Araneta Coliseum. She also just released singles earlier this year such as “Ikaw at Ako” with Jason Marvin, “Patawad, Paalam” with I Belong To The Zoo, and “Paalam” with Ben&Ben. Moira was also one of the song interpreters of “Mabagal” with Daniel Padilla as one of the entries in the Himig Handog 2019 and that went number 1 on MYX Pinoy Countdown.
