Camp of veteran actress Nadia Montenegro mulls to take legal action against a Twitter poser who recently posted negative statement against presumptive president-elect Rodrigo Duterte.
On Instagram, Nadia Montenegro posted the statement of her legal counsel Atty. Marie Glen Abraham-Garduque over the incident.

According to their camp, the Twitter poser caused “immeasurable damages” to the actress as well as to those personalities that have been dragged on the post of her fake account which goes by the handler @nadsmontenegro.
Her lawyer stressed that Nadia is not capable of doing as such because she’s aware of the consequences after making a violation in accordance with the Cyber-crime law.
The legal counsel of Nadia Montenegro stated on its statement that even Sara Duterte, the daughter of upcoming president called the supporters of her father to stop bashing her. Nadia Montenegro received numerous bash statement over the post of her fake account against Duterte.
In a separate post, the actress said that micro-blogging site, Twitter have already taken down the fake account.

Just recently, Nadia Montenegro made headlines via Twitter after she lambasted several personalities including Iglesia Ni Cristo and incumbent Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
Aside from Nadia Montenego, there are several celebrities who made headlines earlier over statement on fake accounts such as Enchong Dee.
Relevant issue was also face by action star Robin Padilla. He earlier filed a libel case against a netizen who slammed him upon posting a shaded ballot on social media, when in fact he is prohibited by the law to exercise his right to suffrage.
But she disclosed that the Twitter account who posted such statement was fake and it is courtesy of a poser.
